Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Review

I used to play this with friends when it first came out awhile back.I've beaten it once already and am about to beat it a second time. The first time you beat the game, you unlock Darth Maul from Star Wars:The Phantom Menace. In order to unlock everything, you have to beat the game 21 times. This can be a pain in the ass at times. The game follows the formula from the first 2 games(hey,if it ain't broke, don't fix it-right?).The game is pretty fun and has a variety of skaters to choose from. Each of the goals for each skater are different;however, the MAIN goals, such as spelling SKATE and getting the high scores, are the same no matter who you pick. This time around, the game has online capabilities so those with AWESOME skate skills can challenge people around the world to a variety of matches. One gripe I have is that it feels like more of the same. It's a good game and all,but I wish they did more with it to separate it from the first 2.If you're willing to overlook some of the flaws of this game, then you'll have some fun with it.When it comes to skating games, you can't go wrong.PEACE,Y'ALL!I'm out.

Socom 3:US Navy Seals Review

I played this at the same time I was playing Socom 2 and I finished it today on Cinco de Mayo(May 5th).The levels are larger than in Socom 2 and there is less emphasis on STEALTH.Most of the missions are of the run 'n gun variety,so you can just go in with guns blazing and just wreck shit. This game is different from the previous 2 in that this game has checkpoints. You read that right;CHECKPOINTS.When you complete an objective, the game saves automatically so that when you die,you don't have to restart the whole mission. You'll just start from the last checkpoint and continue on from there. This game has 12 levels, just like the other Socoms.Another major difference is the PSP Crosstalk. The game also has Crosstalk Objectives for you to complete.

Socom 2:US Navy Seals Review

I played this after I finished the first Socom and I finished this game last night. It's REALLY good and the missions are somewhat challenging.Your teams are replaced;your Alpha team was the Bravo team from the first game and Bravo team is made up of 2 new people,Wardog and Vandal. There are 4 areas in the game that you go to and each area has 3 levels for a total of 12 missions. The areas are:Albania,Brazil,Algeria, and Russia. Each area has its own cutscene to provide backdrop to why you're there. The levels are pretty varied and aren't TOO difficult;they're more time-consuming than anything.Personally,I found this game easier than the first Socom.None of the missions were as difficult as the last 3 in Socom 1;those missions made me want to stab my neck with a rusty screwdriver!Anyways,I enjoyed the Brazil missions and the Russia missions.Only 2 or 3 missions are timed,so you have to finish them quickly. The second to last mission I HATED because you have escort a Nuclear Specialist, codenamed Flatfoot,to gather Intel on Nuclear materials and you have to make sure he stays alive or you AUTOMATICALLY fail the mission and you have to start over.To make matters worse, there's an attack helicopter near the beginning of the level that you have to shoot down if you want to complete the mission,or else you can't extract and you'll end up dying. The last mission is VERY time-consuming;you have 30 minutes to secure the gridge of the ship you're on from crashing into Seattle. Then, you have to blow up the helicopter so the terrorists can't escape and disarm 4 bombs. Finally, you have to climb up a crow's nest and signal all clear so the sub that's waiting for you can stand down. When you finish the game, you unlock the credits movie and ALL the Seals weapons. You also unlock Lieutenant difficulty and you can choose what mission(s) you want to play.To fully unlock everything, you'll have to beat the game around 5 times. If this sounds like the type of game you'd want to play and aren't put off by what I've said, you will enjoy it.You can find it on Amazon here:http://www.amazon.com/SOCOM-U-S-Navy-Seals-Playstation-2/dp/B000099T2H/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1303934227&sr=8-1.This is one of the best games I've played recently and I recommend that you check it yourself and see if you'll enjoy it.You can't go wrong either way. Thanks for reading!!With that,I'm out.Peace! :)

DS Lite review

What I love about the DS Lite is that it has a Gameboy Advance slot to play GBA games,a feature missing from the DSi which came after. This basically doubles your game library, which is always a good thing. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the screen.I wish it was a little bit bigger.I decided to buy it so I could play Pokemon White and trade and battle my friends.

Socom US Navy Seals

I've been playing this game as of late and I've got to say,it's REALLY good!I'm at the penultimate mission right now.The game starts off on the default difficulty,Ensign. You unlock harder difficulties by beating the game. The missions aren't TOO difficult, but the stupidity of your teammates can sometimes make it seem like it is.The hardest mission in this game is Mission 10,Prison Break(WITHOUT A DOUBT!).In this mission, you infiltrate a terrorist prison to rescue your indigenous informant. However,it takes place at night and you're VASTLY outnumbered,so stealth is a MUST if you want to survive.I failed this mission 50 times before I beat it,so expect to die alot and memorize the enemy layout so that you will succeed. The only complaints I have are the A.I.The enemy can sometimes shoot through walls and other obstacles and the A.I. of your teammates is far inferior to the enemy's,since they'll stand around and be shot and do nothing.Nothing frustrates me more than having to risk death in order to rescue my teammates instead of accomplishing my mission objectives.Other than that, the game is really fun. It's realistic and challenging without being extremely frustrating. If you want to buy the game, you can get it here:http://www.amazon.com/SOCOM-US-Navy-Seals-Playstation-2/dp/B0000690Z9/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1299271382&sr=8-2
 And with that,I'm out.Peace!
  *Update 4/10*
Today I finally beat the game!!!!The last three(3) missions will test your frustration tolerance. The good thing is,when you beat the game, you get more weapons to choose from in the armory and you unlock the Lt. Junior Grade difficulty setting. The bad thing is the enemies become much more difficult and you'll be even MORE frustrated,if you weren't the first time around.

Shit I'm Bangin New Years Edition

These are the songs I'm currently listening to at this moment:

http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CbFAZ2ztlE

This song is AWESOME!!It has a James Bond-type feel to it and I never get tired of listening to it.

http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=MagCoUYvIXE

This is my favorite Bond theme song of all time. It's just a great all-around song and has some nice orchestra flourishes during the song and Shirley Bassey has a voice on her!

http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa-YTlgPtKY

This is a great dancable song.Videogame music like this is hard to come by nowadays...This was when videogames had substance and AWESOME soundtracks that people could dance to!

http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZNGwnBq65o

This is one of my favorite songs from the Tenchi Muyo! anime. It had some advice I found useful and it was a very relaxing song to chill out to!

This is it for right now. Thanks for reading(or in this case, listening) my blog and have a Happy 2011!!!!
